League matches
All our league games are played in greys, except Cup/Division Finals which are in whites.
LCBC (League of Country Bowls Clubs):
4 rinks of 3 players; lead, second and skip. These are mixed games, 2 woods each.
Federation rules apply (total players 12). mid-week evenings starting at 6.30pm until 1st August, then 6pm until 1st September, then 5.30pm.
Games are 21 ends (minimum of 14 ends if weather intervenes)
Scoring: 7 points available per match: Rinks won = 1 point each; overall win by shots difference = 3 points (Example: home side wins 3 rinks but loses overall so final scores added to league table = Home 3: Away 4)
Sat Fed (Nottinghamshire Federation Bowls League):
4 rinks of 3 players; lead, second and skip. Mixed games, 2 woods each (total players 12). Federation rules apply.
Games are played on Saturday afternoons (hence the name), 2pm start, 28 ends.
Scoring: 7 points available per match: Rinks won = 1 point each; overall win by points difference = 3 points.
Aussie Pairs:
4 mixed rinks; pairs with 4 woods each alternating as lead and skip, played over 14 ends, EBA rules.
Mid-week afternoons starting at 2pm.
Scoring: 7 points available per match: 1 point per winning rink, overall shots win = 3points.
Two divisions based on East and West. Division winners play each other in a final to determine the overall winner.
'Cup' matches:
LCBC Cup as per LCBC league except the only win criterion is overall shots.
