Mixed Sue Hallam Trophy

Mixed Club 4 Wood Singles Championship
I have received no emails of preference from the Lady members and so, as last year, the competition will be a knockout mixed competition and will be drawn form entries in early May.
Mixed Club Aussie Pairs Knockout
This year the pairs comp is being run in the Aussie Pairs format.
Mixed Peter Ward Trophy
The date for the Peter Ward Trophy is now 13th Sept at 2.00.

Since its formation, EBBC has held a variety of yearly internal competitions.
In recent years, these reduced in number and after the Covid pandemic they ceased completely.
However, at the 2022 AGM, two members volunteered to look at running them again and so in 2023 the Club held a 4 wood singles knockout and a two wood doubles knockout.
In addition to the above, two memorial competitions were once again held; the Sue Hallam Trophy and the Peter Ward Cup; both in fond memory of deceased former members.
For the 2024 the format will be changed only slightly in that the doubles competition will be in the Aussie Pairs format, open to mixed or single sex teams - the teams chosen by the players, not by a draw.
The four wood singles will be held as a mixed competition.
Booking a rink can be done on the website although this is not usually necessary.
The memorial competitions will also be held again with the format depending on the number of players turning up on the day.
Depending on the success of this year's competitions, the possibility of holding more internal comps for 2025 will be reviewed.
