Come and Join Us

East Bridgford Bowls Club (EBBC) has gone from strength to strength since we were formed over 50 years ago. EBBC is part of the East Bridgford Sports Club which has a pavilion and changing rooms on Butt Field in the very centre of the village.

The bowling green is next to the Sports Pavilion, and is regarded as one of the best playing surfaces in the County. We host some County matches and County competitions on our green throughout the year. Three of our lady members also represent the County, and one became a national senior champion recently.

Our outdoor season is from late April to late September, and we cater for all ages and all abilities, whether it be competitive matches or an afternoon social game. There are 4 leagues: LCBC, TVL, Sat Fed and Aussie Pairs which are played on Saturday afternoons, mid-week evenings or afternoons, plus internal club competitions.

We meet for afternoon social games every week in the season on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 2 to 4pm. Come along and join us for a game and a cup of tea. We are a very friendly club!

If you decide to you might want to join us, come and have a go - the first 3 sessions are free of charge, and a selection of different-sized bowls is available to borrow for each session if you haven't got any. You only need to bring flat-soled shoes. After that, a 'roll-up' fee is £3 per session but if you decide to join, a season membership is only £80 per annum and all sessions/matches thereafter are free of charge.
